Robert Eggert

Robert "Bob" Eggert passed away in his sleep following  a long illness on August 7, 2023 at the age of 86. He was residing in Anaheim, California at the time of his passing.

Bob was born November 4, 1936 In Aurora, Illinois, he was the son of Emil and Dorothy Eggert.  Bob moved to California with his family when he was a teen where he met the love of his life, Patricia Kissinger in Long Beach, California. They were married in 1956 and celebrated 61 years of marriage before she passed away in April 2018, he missed her every day that he spent without her.  He often said that the most important thing he ever did in his life was marry Pat.

Bob spent his career as an aerospace engineer specializing in power systems for TRW, then Northrup Grumman.  He was a long time resident of Buena Park, California where his children were raised. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Buena Park.  He enjoyed the ocean, aquariums, and had a favorite German Shepherd named Heidi.  Bob and Pat loved vacationing in Hawaii and Las Vegas.

Surviving Bob are his sisters Mary and Linda ; his two children Denette and Scott, and four grandchildren: Lauren, Andrew, Julia and Harrison.

A gravesite remembrance will be held at Forest Lawn memorial park in Cypress, California at 2:30 pm August 30, 2023.
