July 23, 1956 — February 2, 2014

Billy departed this life on Sunday February 2, 2014. Loving and dedicated husband, devoted father, he is survived by his wife of twenty nine years, Marilyn, a son, Robert W. Matthews, Jr. ('BJ'), and daughter, Jazmine D. Matthews. He is also survived by six siblings, James Matthews, Jr., Elsie Matthews, Barbara Jean Sanderson, Linda Windsor, Gladys Majette, and Helen Prather. He was preceded in death by his parents James & Daisy Matthews, Sr., and two siblings, Carol Moore and Michael Matthews. Viewing is scheduled for Thursday February 13th, 12:00p-1:00p at the Memory Chapel, service immediately following, 1:00p-2:00p.
