Rita Garcia Carrillo

Rita Garcia Carrillo, was born on May 22, 1947, in Acatic, Jalisco, Mexico, and departed this life on April 8, 2025, surrounded by her children in Cathedral City, California. She was a cherished individual who brought warmth and love to all who knew her. Rita's personality shined brightly, characterized by her love of life, unwavering dedication to her family, and faith in God that guided her every step.

Rita dedicated over 30 years of her life to the hospitality industry, many of those years with Marriott at Rancho Las Palmas and Courtyard by Marriott. She was incredibly proud to work for Marriott. She truly loved her job, the people she worked with, and the friends she made along the way.

Rita is survived by her husband Pedro Carrillo, ten children: Florentino, Raul, Rita, Pedro-David, Federico, Sylvia-Angelina, Rosa-Isela, Anita, Maria, and Jesus, thirty-nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Each of them feels the profound loss of their beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.

Visitation services will be held at Forest Lawn - Cathedral City - Ramon Chapel, located at 69855 Ramon Road, Cathedral City, CA, on April 24, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Service and Rosary 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Following Visitation, a Funeral Service will take place at St. Louis Catholic Church, 68633 C St, Cathedral City, CA, on April 25, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM. Graveside service follow at Desert Memorial Park, Cathedral City, CA.

As we remember Rita Garcia Carrillo, we celebrate a life rich in love, devotion, and sincere faith. Her spirit will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
