Rikayah Fatima Mcglothin

Rikayah Fatima McGlothin was born to Ismail Ibn Shabazz (formally Augusties McGlothin II) and Betty Josephine McGlothin on July 21, 1967 in Los Angeles, California. She was the middle child of seven, but as we all know she was not a typical middle child. Her beautiful bubbly personality commanded all the attention she needed from her parents and siblings.
Rikayah grew up in a community where she was widely known and loved. She graduated for Fairfax High. And, because of her love of healthy living and spirituality, she became a licensed therapeutic masseuse.
Rikayah was a very family oriented young lady. She cherished spending time with her nieces and nephews. Rikayah and her sisters and brother share a unique bond. They were undoubtedly her best friends, her confidants, and her strength, as she was to them.
Rikayah parents preceded her in death. But it is comfort to know that they are together now.
Rikayah slipped into eternal rest on June 21, 2015. She went home to be forever embraced by God, and her parents. She leaves to cherish her memory 5 sisters Saudia, Maneka, Allahme, Betty Hana, Walida her only brother Ismail, 2 loving brother-in-laws Fernando and Troy, 4 nieces Heather, Ira, Alleyah, Ariana, 4 nephews Ralphy, Justin, Nasir, Qassim, 3 great-nieces, Alani, Paige, Lacey and 1 great-nephew Manning and a host of loving family and friends.
