Ricky Alan Parks

Ricky Alan Parks was born October 14, 1980 in Inglewood, CA to Ricky Parks and Tondra Davis. He was the loving brother to three siblings, Tamara, Jennifer, and Michael. Growing up in the Los Angeles area, Ricky would later move to Miami, FL where he resided until he passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015.

He found his lifelong niche in the fashion industry which landed him a career as a Fashion Advisor at Barney's New York and Louis Vuitton, among others.

His most endeared times were spent with close family and friends enjoying shopping, pop culture, critiquing fashion, and sharing laughter over a great meal with fabulous cocktails. Ricky was a budding culinary chef who enjoyed his time in the kitchen. He was best known for his magnetic smile and his contagious laugh.

Ricky leaves to mourn: His mother, Tondra Martin (James); father, Ricky Parks; sister, Tamara Catalano (Paul); sister, Jennifer Parks; brother, Michael Martin; grandparents, Elaine Miller, and Eva Mae and John Parks; nephew Justin Warren; nieces, Chloé and Sienna Catalano; nephew André Shaw, Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Ricky will be missed by all who knew and loved him for his sensitivity, sense of humor and infectious laughter.
