Richard L. Mediano

September 19, 1956 — July 16, 2021

Richard was born, resided and passed away at the age of 64 in the city of Long Beach. He is survived by his wife Elsa, married for 31 years and son Jedidiah. He is also survived by his four siblings, Luisa, Ronnie, Debra and Patricia. Richard was a devoted husband and father who loved family time, traveling, playing his guitar, riding motorcycles, listening to music, watching movies and doing handiwork. His son was his pride and joy as he got to see him finish high school, enter college, become belted in karate and play flute. He was the example for his son to have a deep relationship to God. Richard was an ordained minister and a member of Resurrection Life Center, Orange County. He was a proud crane operator as a member of ILWU Local 13 for 33 years. One of his many accomplishments of life was to completely build his parents' home, a blessing he fulfilled. Richard loved life, loved sharing the Word of God to people, praying for them and was always ready to preach anywhere and anytime. He spent hours studying his bibles, meditating on the word, journaling, praying, worshipping and writing encouraging notes to others. He was after God's heart. Family and friends remain touched by his amazing talent, his generous spirit, his sense of humor, his enduring strength and his devotion to his wife and son.
