Richard P. Fisher, 71 of Plaistow, NH passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at his home, with his family by his side.

He was born on August 30, 1943 in Haverhill, MA the son of the late Leona L. (Bishop) Swett and stepfather Edwin E Swett. He was raised and educated in Haverhill and graduated from the Haverhill Trade School.

Richard worked in the Environmental Services Department at Hale Hospital in Haverhill for over 40 years.

He was an active member of the Country Pond Rod & Gun Club in Newton, NH, where he enjoyed going shooting. He also enjoyed collecting models of classic cars for many years. Richard enjoyed listening to country and classic 70's rock music. A very spiritual man, Richard devoutly prayed the Rosary every morning and every evening.

Richard is survived by his wife, Janet Lorraine (Bourque) Fisher of Plaistow, NH. His daughter, Sharon Fisher of Plaistow, NH and his son, Stefan Bourque and his wife, Holly of Jacksonville, NC. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend Mr. Fisher's Life Celebration on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 5 – 7 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street (Rt. 121A), Plaistow, NH 03865. Funeral Services will follow the Life Celebration at 7:15 PM at the funeral home.
