Richard moved to Burbank in 1959 after growing up in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He started working for Pacific Bell right away. After many years of service with them he became a supervisor with AT&T. He retired after 32 years of service in 1989.
He and his wife, Dyana married in 1961. They had two children Mark and Nancee. Richard had two grandson's Clayton Spangenberg and Conner Burrows.
He and Dyana traveled the United States in a motorhome and in their later years traveled to many places via cruising.
He will be missed by his wife, children, grandchildren and all that knew him.
