Vigil / Rosary and Funeral Mass / Graveside details below

Dear Family and Friends,

We sadly announce that our Beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Ricardo Moran, age 99, passed away peacefully at his home in Rancho Cucamonga, California, surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren on Saturday, May 16, 2026. He born on April 3, 1927, in Durango, Mexico.

The Lord blessed our Dad or "grandpa" with a long and beautiful life. We know how fortunate and blessed we were to have had him for so long. Every day, every memory, every lesson, and every moment with him has been a precious gift from God. Thank You for the humble, strong, and Godly man that he was. He was a man of deep faith, hard work, and sacrifice. A humble man who journeyed from Mexico to the United States in the early 1960s seeking opportunity to build a better life for his family. A man whose legacy lives on through his 8 children, 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and all who were touched by his kindness, strength, and example.

Lord, thank You not only for his strength, but also for his joyful spirit. Thank You for his laughter, his funny faces in the thousands of pictures we have of him, and the happiness he brought into every room. Even through life’s hardships, he gave our family smiles, laughter, and moments we will treasure forever. Those memories will always live in our hearts.

Thank You for the love he shared with his beloved wife, Socorro. Their 68 years of marriage were a beautiful testimony of devotion, loyalty, and unconditional love. We find peace knowing he was ready to be reunited with Mom, the love of his life.

As we prepare over the coming weeks to celebrate his life, help us continue to cherish the moments we shared with him — his wisdom, his humility, his humor, his quiet strength, his love for family, and the example of faith he gave us. Give us comfort in our sorrow, gratitude in our memories, and peace in knowing that his journey on earth was filled with purpose, love, laughter, and Your abundant grace.

May Your perpetual light shine upon him. May the angels lead him into Paradise. May he rest in the loving arms of our Lord and be joyfully reunited with those who went before him. And may we carry forward his legacy of faith, family, humility, love, and joy.

With love,

The Moran Family
