Rex C Ott, beloved husband, father, grandfather and life-long resident of Washington State, passed away at age 71 on November 25, 2020 in Rancho Mirage, California with family by his side.

He was born on August 18, 1949 in Seattle, WA the third of 4 children born to Jack and Rose Ott.

Rex graduated from Evergreen High school class of 1967 and shortly thereafter followed in his Father, Jack's footsteps by devoting his hard work and ingenuity to the family Aerospace business J D OTT Company, that Jack started in 1943. Rex took over leading the company in 1983 after his father passed away and saw it through many seasons of change in the Aerospace Industry, ultimately expanding its successes even further.

When Rex wasn't hard at work he enjoyed many hobbies. He loved creating and making things with his hands, he loved being on the water and fishing, he loved cars and motorcycles, he enjoyed golf and much more. Anyone who knew Rex would say he also "loved a good time" and experience all this life had to offer.

Rex is greatly loved and will be missed dearly.

Rex is survived by his wife of 20 years, Tatiana P. Ott (nee Lohanskaya) and his 4 children and 5 grandchildren. Step-daughter Yulia Kidd from Tatiana and 3 children from 1st marriage to Lynn Woolum (nee Woods), Kadie (Josh) Ensley, Joshua (Miranda) Ott, and Emily Kidd. Grandchildren Spencer, Noelle, Jonas, Andrew and Bethany.
He is also survived by his 3 siblings Troy Ott (nephews Caine and Miles), Jan (Beverly) Ott and Jaydee Ott.

Due to current Covid restrictions the family laid Rex to rest in a private service held at Forest Lawn Memorial in Cathedral City on December 4, 2020. Another service will be tentatively planned in Spring of 2021 for all family and friends.
