Rena Josephine Bosnich, 87, born on January 8, 1930, in Crikvenica, Croatia, passed away January 28, 2017. She resided in Rancho Mirage, California with her loving and devoted husband of 67 years. Rena was raised in San Pedro, Ca. by her parents Marijan and Mary Katnich. She attended San Pedro High school class of 1948. She is survived by her husband of 67 years of marriage, Frank Bosnich Sr., daughter Nanci Bosnich Mavar of San Clemente and Rancho Mirage, Ca, son Frank John Bosnich of Palm Springs, Ca, Brothers Marijan (Arlene) Katnich and Bobby (Mara) Katnich, RoseMary "Cookie" Suryan, grandchildren John Marijan Mavar, Nicholas Andrew Mavar of San Pedro, Linsey Bosnich Stem and Todd Bosnich of Del Mar, California. Nieces Michelle Katnich, Terri (Eddie) Sullivan Gina (Kenny) Potter, Candi (Tony) Sary, Robert Katnich and Shelli (Gary) Cootes.
Living in Rancho Mirage for 40 years, Rena enjoyed entertaining and cooking for her many friends. She was active with the Tennis Program at Mission Hills Country Club, as well as the Putter's Club where she became the Club Champion, despite never playing a round of golf in her life! She and Frank enjoyed traveling with Patt and Dom Mannino throughout Europe and especially loved seeing her relatives in Croatia. Her pastime also including frequent trips to Laughlin where her nickname was "the kicker" for hitting so many 4 Ace jackpots.

1.The Viewing will be Monday February 6th from 1pm to 5pm at
2. The Service will be Tuesday Feb 7th at 11am,
The interment will follow immediately after service.
3. A Reception will follow the interment from 12:30pm to 2:30pm
