Raymonde Denise Schneider

Raymonde Denise Schneider, 88, born on September 5, 1923, in Paris, France, passed away August 24, 2012. She resided in Chino Hills, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California. She was the loving mother of 3 sons, mother-in-law to a wonderful daughter in law, grandmother of 6, and great-grandmother of 5. She loved to travel and see the world. She was an explorer with a keen mind and an insatiable desire to learn, She could converse with you on any subject and loved a good debate. She had a wonderful sense of humor ( She Loved George Carlin's 7 dirty Words You Can't Say On Televsion) She had a positive outlook on life, and she taught us "Always give your best to everyone and everything" She loved animals; her favorite charity was Best Friends. Ray loved classical music, especially Bach and we got to listen to some of her faviorties on the day she passed. Being French so she loved her glass of red wine every evening. Her life was one incredible adventure, bringing her some 5, 000 miles accross the globe to a place she never dreamed of settling down in. She told me though, "In the end, I have no regrets" She spent her final days relaxing in the backyard on a lounger, reading her books, studying philosophy (her favorite) and doing her crossword puzzles.
