Raymond Daniel McKay, 88, born on May 2, 1927, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2015 in San Diego, California. He proudly served in the Navy for over 30 years retiring in 1974. He then went on to work for and retire from Sears. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Bernice H. McKay, stepson William Ray Martin and brother Vernis McKay. Raymond was survived by his daughter Karen McKay Wright, Granddaughter Dawn Taft, her husband Robert Taft, Great-Granddaughter Halle Taft, Great-Grandson Brevin Taft and brother Gene Morris. In lieu of flowers please donate to any organization that benefits veterans. Services are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Long Beach, California.
