Raymond Martin-Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather

Raymond Martin, 83, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025 at his home in Palm Desert, CA. surrounded by his loved ones.

Raymond was a custom painting contractor in the Coachella Valley for nearly fifty years and his clients included Hollywood icons like Merv Griffin. Raymond enjoyed family boating and skiing trips to Lake Tahoe and was an outstanding bowler with a perfect 300 game rolled in Palm Springs league play.

Raymond was preceded in death by his father John F. Martin, mother Gladys Martin, brother Jack Martin and sister Barbara Zelenka. Raymond is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Joan "Joanie" Martin, sons Raymond Martin Jr., Brian Martin, daughter Kim Martin-Caffery (Joe), grandchildren Cody Caffery (Madie), Chandler Michelotti (Seve), Callihan Gonzalez (Josiah), great grandchild Genesis, and brother Dennis Martin. His kind and loving nature will remain in our hearts forever!

A private family memorial will be held for Raymond on February 11th at Forest Lawn in Cathedral City, CA.
