Raymond James Annis

Raymond James Annis passed away on June 11, 2026, at The Cottages at Palm Springs of natural causes.

Raymond was born on December 28, 1932, as the ninth child of Helen and Roy Annis of Walnut Creek, California.

Mr. Annis' working career began in the banking business in Reno, Nevada before transferring to United California Bank in San Francisco, where he last served as a Trust Officer. Later joining McKesson Corporation in San Francisco, he managed the company's worldwide trademark activity in the Corporate Law Department. Mr. Annis then moved to Portland, Oregon in the mid 1980's where he continued working as a trademark administrator in the Corporate Law Department of Tektronix Corporation.

He also experienced brief peace-time service in the U.S. Army in South Korea working as an assistant to the 24th Division Dental Surgeon.

Mr. Annis is survived by his life partner and spouse, Richard Hill, of 56 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers and sister.

Final arrangements are with the Forest Lawn Mortuary, Mausoleum and Crematory, with final interment to be at the San Francisco Columbarium.
