Raymond Angulo

August 3, 1959 — September 26, 2022

Raymond Angulo, 63, born on August 3, 1959 in Los Angeles, California passed away Monday, September 26, 2022. He resided in La Puente, California with his loving wife of 44 years, Diana. At just eighteen, Ray married his high school sweetheart and joined the army where he was stationed in North Carolina. He later advanced into the 82nd Airborne Division and was proud to have 43 jumps on record. Ray and his family were very proud of his accomplishments in the service from his training in scuba diving off the coast to jumping out of planes in the sky. After returning home from the service Ray remained an outdoorsman. He loved camping and fishing, most notably float tubing, which even got him featured in the Los Angeles Times. He often vacationed in June Lake with his family. June Lake was his favorite fishing and sight-seeing spot and he loved sharing its beauty with loved ones. He loved Nascar, football, classic war and John Wayne films, and had a love for many genres of music. He was a plumber for over thirty years and often used his skills to help friends and family in need. A dedicated father, Ray was very proud to be able to say he coached his son's teams throughout their childhoods. Ray took every opportunity he could to spend time with his children and share his knowledge with them. Ray was an intelligent, strong, playful, and brave man. A devoted husband to Diana, beloved father to Raymond Jr, Steven, and Jennifer, adoring grandfather of Kayla, Miranda, and Raymond III, loving brother, and friend to all, Ray is survived by many. His wisdom, wit, and humor will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
