Ray Poole

Ray Anthony Poole, passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at the age of 72. Ray was born on October 15, 1951, in Jackson Michigan at Mercy Hospital, to Benny and Barbara Poole. He was a graduate of Jackson High School in 1969, and received his BA from Central Michigan University, in 1973. Ray was ordained in 1994 at the (COPAC) Conference Grand Rapids, MI.

He served as Associate Pastor, and Dean of Ministers Training at Life Changers Christian Center Church, Lansing, MI until 2004. He and his wife Dena relocated to Irvine, CA upon his retirement from the State of Michigan where he worked as Director of the Bureau of Automotive Regulation, Michigan Department of State, Compliance Division.

Ray was an active member of Shuvah Yisreal Messianic Jewish Congregation in Irvine, CA, and served in the greeter department with his wife Dena for 9 years.

Ray was an avid reader and researcher of the Bible, christian literature, and politics.

He enjoyed his coffee time with his special friends at Tru Bru and Pete’s coffee shops. His spiritual guidance and mentorship will be greatly missed by many.
