Raul Mario Burga-Revoredo

Raul Mario Burga Revoredo, 95, born on January 26, 1926, in the city of Pucallpa, province of Coronel Portillo, situated on the Yucali River in the Amazonian rainforest of Eastern Peru passed away January 5, 2022 at 11:43 p.m. surrounded by his children. He resided in Sylmar , CA at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.

Raul was the third of nine children to Arturo Alejandro Burga Perea and Isabel Revoredo Flores. Raul married his wife Zoila Coello of sixty-five years in Iquitos, Peru on December 8, 1955. He had seven children; six from his marriage and one prior, Raul attended the Universidad del Pacifico in Peru where he earned his Accounting Degree. He was a CPA and worked in the Agricultural Banking industry for El Banco Agrario del Peru (Peru's Agricultural Bank) for 25 years. Raul migrated to the United States in September 1980. He became a citizen in 1985 and was very proud of the gift. Raul lived his life loving, nurturing and being an advocate for natural medicine. His joy for life was to share the importance of healthy living and being surrounded by his family and friends.

Raul is survived by his four remaining children Mario Burga, Rosa Smith, Zoila Tolosa and Percy Burga, thirteen grandchildren, and two great grand children. He is preceded in death by his wife Zoila Burga Coello, his three sons Arturo Burga, Hugo Burga and Al Burga.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:30p.m. on January 26, 2022 at the Church of the Wee Kirk O'The Heather, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, California.

Raúl Mario Burga Revoredo, de 95 años, nacido el 26 de enero de 1926 en la ciudad de Pucallpa, provincia de Coronel Portillo, situada sobre el río Yucali en la selva amazónica del oriente peruano, falleció el 5 de Enero de 2022 a las 11:43 p.m. horas. rodeado con sus hijos. Raúl fue el tercero de nueve hijos de Arturo Alejandro Burga Perea e Isabel Revoredo Flores y Bertha Burga. Raúl se casó con su esposa Zoila Coello de sesenta y cinco años en Iquitos, Perú el 8 de diciembre de 1955. Tuvo siete hijos; seis de su matrimonio y uno anterior, Raúl asistió a la Universidad del Pacifico en Perú donde obtuvo su Licenciatura en Contabilidad. Fue Contador y trabajó en la industria de la Banca Agrícola para El Banco Agrario del Perú durante 25 años. Raúl emigró a los Estados Unidos en septiembre de 1980. Se hizo ciudadano en 1985 y estaba muy orgulloso del regalo. Raúl vivió su vida amando, cuidando y siendo un defensor de la medicina natural. Su alegría por la vida era compartir la importancia de una vida saludable y estar rodeado de su familia y amigos.

A Raúl le sobreviven sus cuatro hijos restantes Mario Burga, Rosa Smith, Zoila Tolosa y Percy Burga, trece nietos y dos bisnietos. Le precedieron en la muerte su esposa Zoila Burga Coello, sus tres hijos Arturo Burga, Hugo Burga y Al Burga.

El funeral está programado para las 2:30 p.m. el 26 de enero de 2022 en la Iglesia de Wee Kirk O'The Heather, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, California.
