Randall Ross Williams

Randall Ross Williams of Indian Wells passed away on March 7, 2013 after a lengthy battle with kidney disease. He was born December 1, 1952 to Clyde and Lois Williams in Shenandoah, Iowa. In 1961 his family relocated to Ashton, Idaho and later to Klamath Falls, Oregon. Randall graduated from Henley High School in Klamath Falls and later attended and graduated from Oregon State University. Following graduation from college, Randall joined the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) as a national bank examiner. In 1981, he joined U. S. Bancorp in Portland, Oregon. He held a number of positions with U. S. Bank, most recently as Vice President/Business Banking Manager overseeing a business banking team in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada. After moving to the desert in 2001, he worked as a Vice President/Senior Commercial Loan Officer for Canyon National Bank and later for Sunrise Community Bank in a similar capacity. He is survived by his spouse of 30 years, Lorie Williams, and by his cocker spaniel "Chloe" who was his shadow throughout his illness. Additionally, he is survived by his mother, Lois Foster and three sisters Charlotte Pierce, Carolyn Weiser-Rose (Denny) and Trudy Conklin (Don) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Randall was preceded in death by his father Clyde Williams and his brother Freddie Williams. There will be no service per his request but a small memorial service will be held at a later date in Oregon. He requested in lieu of flowers that a donation by made in his name to either Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab, Utah; The Oregon Humane Society in Portland, Oregon or the American Cancer Society
