Ramona Lopez Cruz

Ramona Lopez Cruz Flores was born on February 7, 1936 in Boca de Arroyo, El Fuerte, Sinaloa, Mexico. She passed away on February 6, 2020. Resided in Long Beach, Ca. Born to Amador Lopez Ortega & Natividad Cruz, Ramona was an only child. Ramona loved listening to her Mexican music especially while cleaning her home. She also was passionate when it came to her birds, she enjoyed taking care of them. Even though she was a tough mother, she always was a caring one, always putting her children's needs before hers. Most of her life she'd did factory work assembling toys for (Mattel) and also electrical assembly work as well. As a single parent she brought her 7 children from Mexico and raised them to the best of her ability. Ramona was dynamic, intelligent, loving woman and served her community of Long Beach as a volunteer at her neighborhood food bank. Endowed with a joyful, loving heart, we will remember Ramona for her extraordinary beauty and strength of her unforgettable spirit. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She is survived by her sons, Sergio Flores, Ignacio Flores, Beatrice Flores Hurtado, Juan Flores Sr. Felix Flores, (deceased Miguel Angel Flores, Luis Antonio Flores). Grandchildren Jazmyn Flores, Anyssa Flores, Sergio Flores Jr., Sabina Flores, Daniel Flores, David Flores, Ignacio Flores Jr. Noemi Flores, Rosa Gonzales Ventura, Cynthia Flores, Juan Flores Jr., Lisa Flores, Joanna Flores, Jenifer Flores, Eli Flores, Veronica Flores, Sylvia Flores, Racheal Flores, Yolanda Flores, Cecelia R Flores, Luis Flores Jr., (deceased Miguel Angel Flores Jr.) and 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.
