Ramona Ybarra Garcia

Ramona Ybarra Garcia, born on April 21, 1920 in Tucson, Arizona, passed away May 14, 2015 at the age of 95. She was the oldest of 6 siblings. At the age of 12, her mother passed away leaving her to help her father raise her brothers and sister.
She was married in 1941 up to the passing of Jesus Garcia in 1995. Ramona adopted her Nephew (by marriage) Raul and immigrated him by bringing him to live in the U.S. in 1957. Ramona enjoyed doing word searches, loved to read, sew and crochet. She had a deep love for the ocean, enjoyed her travels to Florida, The Bahamas and different parts of Mexico. For her Grandchildren, two of the many memories of their "MEMA" was her famous Macaroni and Cheese Casserole she made from scratch, her Papas Rancheras and her bean burritos where they would enjoy countless times sitting at the dining table with their " MEMA & PEPA" eating and talking .
Ramona will always be remembered and admired as a women of great strength and determination.
She is survived by her son, Raul Y.Garcia, daughter-in-law,
Dolores M. Garcia.
4 GrandChildren: Veronica Bustos, Raul Garcia Jr., Mario Garcia and Carlos Garcia,
9 Great-Grand Children :
Andrew Pimentel, Daniel Bustos Jr., Nicholas Bustos, Michael Garcia, Matthew Garcia, Alexia Garcia, Richard Garcia, Mario Garcia Jr. and David Garcia.
Great-Niece/Nephews: Maria Huizinga, Rick Somers and
Fernando Cohen .



Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.
