Obituary
Ramon Yarbough was born on May 11, 1952, in El Paso, TX. Ramon was born to Herold and Margarita Yarbough. Ramon was born a twin however his twin brother passed away at birth. Ramon was 1 of 10 children. As a young child Ramon relocated with his family to Los Angeles, California. Ramon graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1970.

At the young age of 14, Ramon met and started dating the love of his life, Fay Leakes. Ramon was introduced to Fay by his older brother Federico. Federico was then dating Fay's older sister Earnestine.

The second chapter of Ramon's life began December 18, 1971 when Ramon married Fay. To this beautiful union until death did them apart, they were blessed with 41 years of marriage and 2 beautiful daughters Raynell & Carmela whom Ramon loved so very dearly.

Ramon's career of choice was a local truck driver. Ramon truly enjoyed driving the big trucks and delivering products across Southern California. After over 30 years of driving trucks, Ramon had an accident that injured him and caused him to change his career. Ramon remained in the trucking industry and took on a job as a security officer with Werner Enterprises. He continued to work until his wife became sick from cancer and he had to retire to care for her.

Ramon was and will always be remembered as an outstanding, stand alone and no one else could do it better "husband", "father", "family member" and "friend". Ramon had a heart as big as the Pacific Ocean. He loved and genuinely cared for everyone so dearly.

Ramon's friends and family called him "Chico". Chico's favorite slogan was "I Drink, I Get Drunk, I Fall Down, No Problem". One thing about Chico, you were always guaranteed to catch him with a can of BUD LIGHT in his hand talking shit.

Another well known fact about Chico was everyone knew win or lose he was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys Fan, "just look around you." Chico would take all bets even if he knew his team didn't stand a chance. Chico also loved fishing. He was always ready to cast his pole in the water while drinking a can of beer. Chico spent a great deal of time with his daughters and his grandchildren, whether it be attending school activities, sports events, camping, fishing and dirt bike riding, He Was There For It All!!

Ramon loved the Lord. He gave his life to Jesus Christ and was Baptized in the water. Ramon was a member of Breakthrough Church in MorenoValley, CA. Although Ramon didn't attend on a regular basis after the passing of his wife he didn't allow that to stop him from reading God's word, praying, trusting and believing that Jesus Christ was his Lord and Savior.

Ramon was broken hearted and he truly never recovered from the passing of his wife Fay in 2012 and his youngest daughter Carmela in 2020. Though Ramon understood that death is a part of life, the pain of losing them both hurt so deeply.
