Ramon Lansang, a devoted husband, a loving son, a cherished father, and a steadfast brother, graced this world from November 2, 1961, until his untimely passing on November 25, 2024. Born in the vibrant landscapes of the Philippines, Ramon carried the spirit of his homeland with him wherever he went. His journey life took him from the warm shores of his birthplace to the bustling bar counters of renowned establishments across the globe, where he spent three remarkable decades honing his craft as a bartender. For ten years, he brought a touch of magic to the guests at Hilton Hotels, spent a decade with Holland America Line, and before that, he was a beloved bartender in the Philippines.
Ramon was more than just a talented bartender; he was an embodiment of perseverance and hard work. His cheerful countenance and friendly nature lit up every room he entered, drawing people in with an infectious energy. He knew well how to mix the perfect cocktail of laughter and kindness, leaving his mark on the hearts of friends and patrons alike. His sociable spirit thrived in the company of others, and he took great joy in cultivating relationships everywhere he went. Being married to Ramon meant enveloping oneself in an unwavering embrace of love and thoughtfulness, as he always prioritized the well-being of those closest to him.
The heart of his being lay in his family, to whom he was deeply devoted. He took immense pride in bringing his loved ones to the United States, crafting a tapestry of memories that would last a lifetime. Each celebration, each small moment shared together, became a cherished milestone stamped indelibly in their hearts. His legacy is as much about the warmth of his affection as it is about his hard-fought successes.
Ramon's interests were as vibrant as his personality. He delighted in the thrill of sports, particularly basketball and American football, spending countless hours cheering for his favorite teams—a demonstration of his spirited love for competition and camaraderie. Those who knew him will fondly remember the lively conversations sparked by the latest games, as well as the laughter echoing around him.
In this time of reflection and mourning, we are reminded of the profound impact that Ramon had on so many lives. He is survived by his beloved spouse, Judith Lansang; his mother, Virginia Lansang; his son, Mark Lansang; his daughter-in-law Anne and his brother, Rolando Lansang. Together, they navigate through this sorrow, forever holding onto the cherished memories that live on in their hearts.
His life will be celebrated at Forest Lawn - Covina Hills - Tribute Center, where relatives and friends can gather to remember the vibrant soul he was. Visitation will take place from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM with a Funeral Service held at 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM , all on December 7, 2024.
