Ramon
Martinez
March 18, 1954 – March 20, 2026
Ramon was born on March 18, 1954, in Jalostotitlán, Mexico, to his parents, Juan and Maria Martin De La Torre. He was one of ten brothers.
At the age of 18, Ramon and his close cousin dared each other to board a bus and head to the United States. Being the risk-taker that he was, he embarked on a life-changing journey that eventually brought him to Venice Beach, California where he later
met Concepcion Elizabeth in 1976, and the two were married on July 18, 1977. Together, they built a beautiful home and began their family with the birth of their first child, Marisela Martinez, in 1979. Their family continued to grow through August 1993. Over the years, Ramon became the proud father of nine children and grandfather to seventeen grandchildren.
Ramon was a role model and mentor. He opened his home to many family members and friends in need, creating a warm and loving environment where everyone felt welcome. He cherished sharing his favorite meals, meaningful conversations, and celebrating every occasion with those he loved. Ramon’s love language was acts of service. He was a risk-taker—resilient, charismatic, and deeply loving—with a heart of gold.
Ramon will be forever in our hearts.
