Ramon Ray Hernandez

Ramon Hernandez, 86, born on February 26, 1926, in El Paso, Texas, passed away September 30, 2012. He resided in Sunland, California at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, California.

Ray was a humble hard working man who not only maintained his primary trade as an auto mechanic but was also a very successful entrepreneur. Which included owning several Billard establishments and owning a portfolio of multi-family units. His most beloved building was his property in Eagle Rock which he spent most of his days after retiring from his job as a mechanic and his Billard establishments. Many of the residents developed a friendly relationship and looked after him as he was always at the property. There was an inside joke about Ray being the maintenance man. Many tenants believed this was the case because he was always cleaning the property and taking out the trash.

Ray is survived by his 8 children and many grandchildren. He was able to enjoy his grandchildren as he slowed down from working altogether. He will be truly missed!
