Ralph J.S. Honculada

Ralph J.S. Honculada, 86, was born on February 28, 1934 in Tagbilaran City of the province Bohol, Philippines to Cristobal Honculada and Fortunata Sarmiento. He passed away on October 23, 2020, in his home in Norwalk, California. Ralph completed his education in the Philippines where he received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He continued to work as a mechanical engineer in the Philippines until he came to the California in 1973. In the United States, he worked as a Metropolitan life insurance agent and eventually worked as a Legalization Officer for the Justice Department until he retired. While living in California, he fell in love with Amelita and they signified their love by getting married in 1989. He was a proud Republican and espoused their conservative values and morals. Despite his conservative upbringing, Ralph Honculada from a young age was known as a regular Life-of-the-party. His smile would light up a room and there was hardly a moment where he was not surrounded by his friends and loved ones. With his boisterous attitude and kind, giving nature, he made it easy to bask in the warmth of his light. A loving husband and father, he spent his days from the moment he retired in 1993 taking care of his two young sons, Rahmel and Ryan. He is survived by his wife, Amelita, and his three children, Rahmel, Ryan, and Randel Honculada. He will be missed dearly and sincerely by his family and friends.

The viewing will take place on Tuesday, November 3, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 4, at 9:00 AM in the Church of Our Father, Forest Lawn, 4471 Lincoln Ave. Cypress, California 90630.
