Racquel Tanovan

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Christian sister, Racquel De Castro Bella Tanovan, 37. She was born on February 18, 1988, in Long Beach, CA, and passed away on April 20, 2025. Racquel, also known as Rocky by friends, was a bright and joyful spirit who touched all who knew her.

Racquel is survived by her mother, Winnie De Castro, her papa, Prasad Viswam, her father, Freddie Bella, Ryan Tanovan, her sister, brother, niece, nephew, loving uncles, aunties, and cousins. 

Racquel was a kind, compassionate, and loving individual. She was also a food enthusiast. In her spare time, she explored new eating establishments and frequently visited the ones worth returning to and supporting. Food brought immense joy to her life as it symbolized togetherness. We will always cherish the laughter and challenging times at Tatay Opoy's house, where we grew and found comfort, believing, "A family that eats together will stay together". One day, we will all be together again in the Heavenly Father's Kingdom.

Racquel's memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her. A celebration of life will be held on May 31, 2025.
