Pauline Poon Neo Gan

Pauline Poon Neo Gan, beloved matriarch of the Chia family, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 28, 2023 in Beaumont, CA. 

Born on December 31, 1927, in Singapore, Pauline lived a life marked by devotion and dedication. A devout Christian, she sought solace and strength in her faith. Her spirituality not only anchored her but also served as a guiding light for those who knew her. Pauline was a remarkable woman who spoke multiple languages, was an excellent cook, and, in her later years, spent countless hours doing her “work” (extremely difficult sudoku puzzles and coloring books).

Pauline is survived by her son, Rev. Dr. Donald Chia, her daughter-in-law, Mabel Koh, and their children, Dr. Faith Chia, and Joy Chia. She is also survived by her grandson-in-law Bernard Leung, granddaughter-in-law Rebecca Martin, and great-granddaughters Sarah Leung, Hannah Leung, and Evelyn Martin-Chia. 

Memorial Service (In-Person)

You are invited to a Memorial Service for Pauline on January 5, 2024. The service will begin at 6:00 PM PST at the Church of Our Heritage, also at Forest Lawn-Covina Hills, located at 21300 Via Verde Drive in Covina, CA.

Post-Memorial Dinner: You are also invited to join Donald and Mabel for dinner at Paradise Buffet after Pauline's memorial.
