Pierce Stevens, 22, of East Hampstead, died at home in his sleep of natural causes on April 4, 2015 and went home to be with the Lord.

Born in Saudi Arabia, son of Mark L. and Kathleen (Fletcher) Stevens, he was raised and educated in Hampstead. A member of the Pinkerton Academy Class of 2011, he was a member of the Varsity Football Team that won the 2010 State Championship. Pierce attended the New York Maritime College in The Bronx where he was again a member of the Football Team and was presently in his Junior year at Plymouth State College. He has been employed summers and weekends at Tuscan Market in Salem, NH.

A member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church of Derry, Pierce enjoyed playing basketball with his brothers and friends, spending time at Lake Umbagog, fire gatherings and camping, fishing, target practice, rafting on the Saco River and reading. A humorous, entertaining and compassionate spirit, he was very close and very supportive to his youngest brother Jackson.

Pierce will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his parents, Mark and Kathleen (Fletcher) Stevens of East Hampstead, his four brothers, William B. Stevens of Boston, MA, Dennis F. Stevens, Maxwell L. Stevens and Jackson H. Stevens, all of East Hampstead, maternal grandparents, William Hugh and Mary Ellen Fletcher of Tulsa,OK, paternal grandmother, Mary Ann Stevens of Danvers, MA, uncles, William F. Fletcher of Tulsa, Garth Stevens and his wife Judi of Hudson,NH, and Michael Stevens of Foxboro,MA, and numerous relatives, co-workers and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather William B. Stevens.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Life Celebration to be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. His Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Trinity Assembly of God Church, 53 North Main St. Derry. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in memory of Pierce and in honor of Jackson be made to Salem Easter Seals, 15 Ermer Road, Unit 102, Salem, NH.
