MRS. PHYLLIS N. (BEGOLE) OFFENHAUSER
February 18, 1937 ~ November 30, 2012
Phyllis was born in Kirksville, MO (KOH). She went to a boarding high school in central Missouri where she met and later married her husband, Guy, 57 years ago. Phyllis and Guy had 3 children, Suze, Guy III, and Tyler. She had 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Phyllis and Guy were married in San Antonio, Texas, when Guy was in the Army. She lived the first two years of marriage in Paris, France, where Guy was stationed in the Army. After finishing with the Army service, Phyllis and family finally settled in Thousand Oaks, Calif., where they raised their family for 31 years. Phyllis received her Associate of Arts degree in Interior Design, which was her passion. After retiring in 2000, Phyllis and Guy moved to the desert to live in La Quinta, Calif. She will be greatly missed by her children and her husband. We will miss her smile and sunny disposition. A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ramon Chapel of Forest Lawn Cathedral City, 69855 Ramon Road, Cathedral city, Calif
