Peter Miranda

Peter Miranda, born on April 29, 1925, in Phoenix, Arizona, peacefully departed this life at his home in Salton Sea Beach, California, on November 23, 2024.

Peter's early years were marked by a sense of duty and patriotism, as he served in the United States Navy during World War II, advancing to the rank of third Class as a Motor Mechanic (MoMM3). His military service instilled in him the values of hard work and dedication, which he carried into his civilian life.

After the war, Peter and his brother Frank took to entrepreneurship, establishing their own barber shop where they worked together, exemplifying the spirit of camaraderie and family. Following this chapter, Peter pursued further education at Trade Tech school, which led him to a fulfilling career as a diesel mechanic for the city of Los Angeles. His skill and workmanship earned him respect and admiration among colleagues and the community.

Peter is survived by his loving family, including his eldest daughter, Linda Mae, his daughter, Nancy, his son, John, and his cherished grandchildren, Crystal, Christopher, Peter, Benjamin, John, Danny, Amanda, and Anthony. He was also a proud grandfather to his great and great-great-grandchildren, forming a legacy that will endure through generations.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eva Jean, who was his partner in life and love. He is also survived by his second wife, Patricia.

Peter Miranda's life was a testament to resilience, hard work, and a commitment to family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
