Peter Capuno Cabalu

Peter Cabalu, 93, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, passed away June 3, 2022 in Henderson, Nevada, surrounded by his family. Peter was born in Concepcion, Tarlac, Philippines.

Peter is survived by his children, Lydia, Marcia, Lito, Eli, Suzette, Marietta and Bud. He was a good husband to his wife, a good and loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Peter was an electronics communications engineer. He led a good and interesting life. As a young man in the 1950s and 1960s, he worked for Page Communications and had job assignments in various foreign countries. He had a wonderful career and retired from the telecommunications industry in the late 1980s.

In his spare time, he studied Theology, listened to country music, enjoyed watching action World War II movies, and spending time with his grandchildren. Among the countries he visited, the Holy Land was one of his favorites.

A celebration of life vigil will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, July 8th in the Cypress Room, Forest Lawn – Cypress.
