Peggy Lander Dixie, 84, born on June 11, 1936, in Acmar, AL. Peggy passed away February 17, 2021. She resided in Pomona, CA at the time of her passing. Peggy retired from Ontario-Montclair School District, where she taught for over 40yrs., she enjoyed and loved teaching. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Pomona,CA, where she sang in the Sanctuary
Choir. Peggy leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter LaSonja Lynn Dixie of Pomona,CA, one grandson Warren Ray Reed of Pomona,CA, one sister Johnnie Mae Tigner of Birmingham, AL, one sister-in-law Dorothy J.Tinch of Chino,CA and a host of nieces and nephews. Peggy was well loved and respected by many, and will truly be missed. Memorial Services will be held on April 20th at 2:15pm. Arrangements for her services are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.
