We will remember Pedro Samulde Agustin Sr. until the end of time.
Pedro Sr. will be remembered as a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. Born in Pandan, Antique, Philippines, he was the son of Concepcion Bandiola and Matias Agustin. He will be remembered for his leadership as an intelligence agent for the Philippine Army and his practice of law. He will be remembered for the mahjong parties he hosted with his beloved wife, Lilia Tamayo Agustin, in their Norwalk house, being the first one on the dance floor, being the original Mr. GQ, and making all of his loved ones laugh and smile with his humor. He will unequivocally be remembered as "Lolo".
Pedro Sr. and Lilia loved God with all their hearts. They prayed their daily rosary at 7pm. When the Banal Na Pag-aaral was introduced to them in 1983, they gladly opened their home for retreat classes. They supported the mission of God and Pedro Sr. praised God until his last breath. They were silent soldiers of Christ. Until Pedro's last breath, he praised God. He is now reunited with his wife together serving God in His mighty army in His Heavenly Kingdom.
Pedro Sr. was born in Pandan, Antique, Philippines on April 26, 1926 and grew up with five brothers and two sisters. With his children, he migrated to the United States on May 6, 1970 to finally join Lilia who had left the Philippines two years prior.
Pedro Sr. is reunited his wife Lilia in heaven on July 24, 2021. He is also reunited in heaven with his siblings Juan Agustin, Mateo Matinong, and Benito Matinong. He resided in Chino, CA, and is survived by three children, Pedro Jr. (Rouena), LiliAnn (Rick), and LiliBeth (Fred); eleven grandchildren, Matthew, Noel (Paris), Christopher (Jessica), Jillian, Jeremy (Tomomi), Lauren (Matt), Brian (Natalie), Megan (Michael), Ryan (Tina), Kevin, and Courtney; and six (and counting) great grandchildren, Aco, Colette, Leo, Caden, Zayn, and Cali. In the Philippines, he is survived by his siblings Felicitas Gonzaga, Orencio Matinong, Constancio Matinong, and Mamerta Chan.
