Pauline Rachael (LaBelle) Letoile, formerly of Plaistow NH and Haverhill MA, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, November 1, 2013 at the Oxford with her family by her side. She would have been 94 in December. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo J. Letoile, to whom she was married for fifty-three years. She was the daughter of Adelard and Alma (Corbeil) Labelle. She was also predeceased by sisters Marie, Irene, Carmen, Dora, Julia, Dorothy, Gabrielle, and Georgette, and brothers, Alfred, Raoul, and Bobby.
She is survived by her daughter Mrs. Wanda Howland of Plaistow, and her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Robert Rowinski of Plaistow NH. She also leaves four grandchildren: Carole Howland of Newburyport, Michael Howland of Plaistow, Heather Howland Slaby and her husband James of South Boston, and Lisbeth Rowinski of West Hollywood, CA.
Mrs. Letoile had worked in the shoe business until her marriage. After being a homemaker for a number of years, she became the secretary and bookkeeper for her husband's business, Leo J. Letoile Roofers. She had been a Girl Scout Leader and a member of St. Anne's Sodality at All Saints Parish. She and her husband spent many happy times at their home on Lake Winnepesaukee. Their happiest times there were when the whole family could be together.
The family would like to thank the Oxford, especially the nurses, Tina, Donna, Carrie, and Pam, and the aides, Marlene, Paula, and Crystal in particular. They would also like to thank Life Choice Hospice, particularly Terry Cooper who was with the family at Pauline's passing, and Rita and Melissa, who treated our mom as their own. Words cannot express our gratitude to all of those who cared for her so well.
