Paulina Malaga

June 25, 1960 — January 8, 2025

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paulina Malaga, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, teacher, and friend. Paulina was born on June 25, 1960, and left us far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, happiness, and inspiration that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Paulina was the beloved wife of Luis, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage that began in 1987 in Peru. Together, they built a life filled with love, joy, and devotion. She was a devoted and loving mother to Pauline and Luis, always leading by example and filling their childhoods with music, laughter, a love of sports, and unparalleled generosity. Her daily routine had to include a trip to the gym; she made a point of keeping herself fit and healthy. She instilled in her children, values of kindness, resilience, and compassion, serving as the best role model anyone could ever hope for.

Paulina’s warmth extended beyond her immediate family. She was a beautiful and kind daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and loving grandmother to Jayden and Paulina. Her family was her world, and she brought light into every relationship with her unwavering love and care.

A dedicated teacher since 1986, Paulina’s passion for education touched countless lives. She was an educator who led with her heart, bringing kindness, fun, playfulness, and creativity into the classroom. She loved to sing and play musical instruments, including the guitar, piano, and accordion for her students, making learning an unforgettable experience. Beloved by her students, “Teacher Pauline” positively influenced generations of “her children” leaving an indelible mark on their lives and those of their families.

Paulina had an extraordinary ability to connect with people. Her easygoing nature and genuine interest in others allowed her to strike up conversations with anyone and make friends wherever she went. She loved the ocean, music, dancing, and basketball, finding joy and solace in the simple pleasures of life. Paulina exuded joy and lived her life with a boundless sense of fun. She was the person who brought people together, often through her love of music. She delighted her loved ones by singing and playing instruments, making ordinary moments extraordinary. Her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Paulina Malaga leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to ripple through the lives of her family, friends, and students. Though she is no longer with us in person, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

Rest in peace, Paulina. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
