Paula B. Kinports

We lost our beloved Paula Friday, February 24, 2017. She is survived by her husband, John Nilsson, her siblings Kit Kinports, Kevin Kinports (Diane), Anne Hochsprung, Laurie Baran (Mark), her sister-in-law Anna-Marie Nilsson and many adored nieces, nephews and friends.

Paula was born to Lawrence and Joan Kinports, April 20, 1960, in LaGrange Illinois. She was an intelligent, strong and independent woman. At the age of 18, she drove her yellow Opel GT across the country to Los Angeles. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. She survived a brain aneurysm at the age of 31 and worked so very hard to regain the skills she had lost. With a dogged perseverance she earned a Bachelor's degree from Pepperdine University. This was one of her proudest moments. Paula was hardware and software certified on the telecommunications equipment of the time and worked 10 years for the Metropolitan Water District. Her last job, as a roadside assistance operator at AAA, gave her much pleasure. Paula loved to help people in need.

Paula met every challenge with her tenacious spirit and quick sense of humor. She charmed all with her innocent sweetness and considerate nature.

Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.
