Paul P. Yeh

Dr. Paul P. Yeh was born in Song Yang, Zhejiang, China. He was the youngest of seven children born to Ching Chung Yeh and Sue Wen Mao. After a short stint at the National Central University in Nanking, China, he traveled to Toronto, Canada to complete his undergraduate education in Electrical Engineering. It was there in Toronto that he met the love of his life, the lovely Beverley. They married and quickly started their family with the birth of their daughter and then followed by three sons with the last one born in the USA when his career took them to the East Coast. While raising his family, Paul earned his Master's and his PhD at the University of Pennsylvania. Eventually they settled in Southern California where Paul was employed at several prominent Aerospace companies working on projects as diverse as the Global Positional System, the Stealth Fighter and the U2 aircrafts. After taking an early retirement, he traveled extensively and enjoyed working in his garden where he grew many types of fruit trees. He will be missed by his four children, seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren (with another on the way); eight step-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life followed by a reception will be held Sunday, June 2017 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm in the Oasis Room at the Sunset View Club House in Sun City, Palm Desert, Calif.
