Paul E. Plunkett

Atkinson, NH: Paul E. Plunkett, 62, of Atkinson passed away unexpectedly at his home.

Born in Waltham, MA on May 15, 1951, he was the eldest child of Lear and Palmyra (Robitaille) Plunkett. Paul graduated from Newburyport High School in 1969 and worked his way through college graduating from Lowell Technological Institute in 1973 receiving a Bachelor's Degree in business.

After graduating from college, Paul was employed at the IRS for thirty-one years as a tax examiner, until his retirement in 2009. In his retirement Paul enjoyed his passion for cars, reading, and spending time with his family and friends. His family meant the world to him.

Paul leaves behind his brother, John Plunkett of Sherman, Texas, sisters, Carol Smith and her husband Randy of Montgomery, Alabama, Marie Foster and her husband Dennis of Topsfield, MA, and Teresa Blomgren and Stephen Kearley of Bluffton, SC.

Paul was a devoted uncle who was loved very much by his many nieces and nephews. Paul will be missed by his family and his many friends in the community but will remain forever in our hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH.
