Obituary for Paul William Hartman

Paul William Hartman, age 81, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025.  A devoted husband, veteran, and dedicated public servant, Paul lived a life defined by integrity, service, and love for his family.

Born on April 4, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio, Paul spent his early years surrounded by the values that shaped his character—hard work, loyalty, and compassion.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, carrying with him the discipline and camaraderie that military life instilled. After completing his service, Paul joined the Ohio Police Department, beginning a long and honorable career in law enforcement.

When he later moved to California, Paul continued his commitment to public safety by joining the Garden Grove Police Department.  Throughout his years of service, he earned the respect of colleagues and community members alike for his calm presence, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to helping others.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Lydia, along with many cherished family members who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.  He was preceded in death by his father and mother, who welcomed him home with love.

Viewing services will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at:
