Patricia May Placial

Patricia Lou Placial 83, born March 8, 1937 was called home on February 14, 2021. Patty Lou as she was called by her parents and friends was born in Miles City Montana to Spencer Raymond Wilson & Mildred Lou Senter.

Our mother was raised in the church and was a devout Christian her entire life. She left Montana to attend Angelus Temple Bible College in Echo Park California where she received her bachelors degree in ministerial studies. It was there that she met her husband Archie Orville Placial from Boonville, Missouri. They were married on November 23, 1958. They loved each other dearly until our dad's passing in 1995.

She was a homemaker after getting married and she raised three boys: Stephen Orville Placial - 61, Paul David Placial - 57 & Daniel Raymond Placial - 53. Our mother has six grandkids: Stephen - 34, Chanel - 31, Devan - 31, Connor - 27, Paul Jr - 25, Tyler - 15 & Spencer 11 and three great grandkids Deshawn - 11, Kylie - 11, & Kalvin - 5.

Patricia worked for the San Fernando school district for years while living in Los Angeles. When we moved to Ventura she got a job with the phone company. First GE, then Pac Bell and finally AT&T. She also taught Sunday School at every church we attended and was awarded teacher of the year many times.

Our mother worked very hard but she always made time for our family, her friends and really anyone who needed help.
If you needed a few bucks, a ride to the doctor, words of encouragement or someone to pray for you; You could always count on Patricia Placial our Mom.

Our mother's funeral will be on March 16th at 10am at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale outside of Church of the Recessional.
