Patricia was heavily involved in the Democratic Party in the 1960's and 1970's working tirelessly and cooperatively with many State of California Senators, Representatives and the Governor, including reaching out and working with members of the Republican party, in order to iron out details and get important bills through the legislature to ultimately become law.
She enjoyed fine dining at fancy affairs and restaurants, attending various galas and fundraising events, cocktail parties, and attending the opera, as well as, sitting down with family and friends to enjoy good home-cooking with enchiladas, tamales, barbeques in the backyard, and a host of other gatherings of family and friends throughout her life, especially during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Patricia had a passion for many hobbies and interests throughout her life including a penchant for sewing and delighted in making clothing, golfing, and enjoying outings at the beach or around the pool, although she did not swim. She had a fondness for horses-riding them in fields and meadows, as well as caring for them. She was close to getting her pilot's license to fly small aircraft. She was enthusiastic about a lot of interesting pursuits in life. She also enjoyed a good cup of Constant Comment hot tea, Godiva Chocolate Truffles and a relaxing warm bubble bath with almond oil and essence of lilac.
She was well-respected, much appreciated, and sincerely loved by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great, great grandchild, as well as all her friends, co-workers, neighbors and acquaintances who knew her.
She touched many lives which had a great, profound and positive impact on all who knew and loved her.
Although Patricia is not physically here with us, due to being promoted to a higher status in heaven, effective Sunday, August 15, 2021, she is always in our thoughts, memories and hearts. She will be dearly missed by everyone. She was, and is, a great and elegant lady!
