Patricia Ann (Kuhr) Field, 63, of Sherman Oaks, California, passed away on December 24, 2025, in Los Angeles, following a brave battle against cancer. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Glendale, CA.
Trish was born January 3, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois, adored daughter of Kenneth Kuhr and Bernadette Kuhr (nee Leigh). She is the loving mother of Zachary Field; beloved wife of Keith Field; cherished sister of Mary Kuhr Anderson, Jeanne (Thami) Madinane, Kathleen Kuhr, Frank (Dharma Kennedy) Kuhr, Diane (Patrick) Lyman and Stephen (Sam Rattan) Kuhr; dear sister-in-law of Kerry (Debbie) Field, and Kevin (Blanca) Field (deceased); loving aunt, cousin, and friend to so many.
She grew up with her six siblings in Niles, Illinois, where she attended St. John Brebeuf Elementary School and Niles West High School. Trish received an AA from Oakton Community College and then earned a BA in Music Business from North Park University in Chicago, a newly-offered degree at the time.
Family, friends, and music were everything to Trish. Her son, Zack, was a constant source of pride. She delighted in sharing his professional and personal accomplishments and adventures with everyone. She spent her free time with family, friends, and colleagues, always going out of her way to connect regularly.
A passion for music was a constant in her life. Trish loved playing and listening to a wide variety of genres. She married a musician (Keith Field), gave birth to a musician (Zachary Field aka Wakko the Kidd), and pursued a long and successful career managing business affairs for musicians, helping them to focus on their art. She moved to Los Angeles in 1988, working at companies including NARAS, Leeds/Le Mobile, and Haber Corporation, later acquired by Gelfand, Rennert, and Feldman LLC. Trish was devoted and committed in every way, earning the highest level of trust, respect, and friendship from her clients and colleagues.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Trish's name to the American Cancer Society.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 3 pm at Forest Lawn in Hollywood Hills, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles. We'll gather for dinner and to share happy memories at Castaway at 6 p.m. Please bring your best stories about Trish, as we will be sharing and celebrating.
