Pasquo (Pat) Santoianni, 87, passed away July 8, 2017 in Indio, California, and had been a resident of the Coachella Valley with his wife Lynn for 33 wonderful years. He was born March 11, 1930 to Italian immigrant parents in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, and was the younger of two children. The family moved to California when he was six years old, and settled in the Los Angeles area. Pat was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School in Highland Park, and participated on the gymnastics team.
The majority of his life was spent in the Los Angeles area where he grew up, was married, raised a family and worked. Pat was also an American Patriot and joined the US Marine Corps, where he served as a Sergeant during the Korean War. After the war, Pat married his high school sweetheart Lynn, and raised a family. His first profession was a Carpenter, which he enjoyed and became a master craftsman. He later went on to obtain a Contractor's License and started M.T. Patrick Construction Company with his partner, which specialized in renovations and new construction of churches, missions and other facilities for the Catholic Archdiocese. After retirement and moving to the Coachella Valley, he enjoyed traveling with family and friends, as well as playing golf.
Pat truly loved the Lord and served Him in many ways. He was a member of Southwest Church in Indian Wells. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many. Pat is survived by his wife Lynn of 64 years, two sons and a daughter, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on November 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM, at Southwest Church, 44-175 Washington St., Indian Wells, California. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the following organizations:
