Pao Hong

Pao Hong passed away peacefully on 12/21/2025, surrounded by her family. She was 79. Born in Kampong Kantout Village, Cambodia, she devoted her life to her family. A loving wife, mother of five, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was the heart of her home and the quiet strength behind generations of family. 

She shared a deep and enduring bond with her husband, marked by loyalty, devotion, and a love that was evident to all who knew them. Family always came first for her. She gave selflessly, cared deeply, and never hesitated to put the needs of others before her own. At the same time, she was strong-willed and unafraid to speak her mind when it mattered most — always guided by love and honesty. Cooking was one of the ways she showed that love. Through the meals she prepared, she brought family together, offering comfort, nourishment, and a sense of home that will be remembered always. Though she is no longer with us physically, she remains with us in spirit — in the family she held together, the traditions she passed down, and the love that continues through every generation. 

She is survived by her beloved husband, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family who will forever carry her with them. In keeping with her wishes, her final resting place will be in Cambodia, where she wished to rest close to her Family and the place she always called home. 

A memorial service will be held on 1/8/2026 with ceremony starting at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, donations in her memory are welcome.
