Padma Galliara

April 7, 1944  -  September 16, 2023

Padma Galliara was born on April 7, 1944 to Balwant & Greely Galliara, in Kalaw, Burma. She was the fourth of nine children.  She dedicated her life to Jehovah God and was baptized on October 14, 1965 at Inya Lake, Rangoon, Burma.  Soon after, she entered into a full-time service, in various assignments in Burma including virgin territories, till she became ill in 1980.  After that, she continued serving Jehovah God with her whole heart, soul, mind and strength till her last day.  She was always looking for ways to help anyone she came into contact with to share the wonderful and sure hope offered by our Grand Creator, the source and sustainer of life, Jehovah God. She would not allow anything or anyone to stop her from sharing life’s water free.  She was loved by so many for her love for Jehovah and His standards.  She lived her life to bring a smile to her Heavenly Father’s face.

Padma loved and respected life and treated it as a sacred gift from God and took good care of it until her last moment. She loved babies, children, her family and all her friends.  She loved cooking and she was noted for being generous and hospitable.  So much so, many people think of food when they think of her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Pramod and Gerish.

She is survived by her siblings: Lu Lu (husband Joe), Pramila, Rajendra (wife Pridin), Helen, Rani (husband Abel), and Christine; nephews: Kenneth, Philip, Andrew, Josiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Benjamin, and Soe Soe; nieces:  Lydia, Lois, Thoolay, Mumu, Sarwah, Wahwah, and Musay; many cousins, great nieces & nephews, and many friends who dearly loved her.
