Pacita Sepe

Pacita Mamaril Sepe, 71, of Los Angeles, California, passed away on January 14, 2025 after a long battle with cancer.

Pacita was born on February 10, 1953 to Petra and Jacinto Sales in Pangasinan. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pangasinan. She later moved to Germany to continue working as a nurse and sending money back to her family in the Philippines. There she met her husband, Fernando Delo Santos Sepe. They married and gave birth to Juni Sales Sepe. They moved to the United States in the early 1980s, where Pacita studied to become certified as a registered nurse in California. Shortly after, her youngest daughter, Daisy Sales Sepe was born.

She worked hard in her profession until 2005, when she battled cancer for the first time. She would later fight cancer two more times. In between those times, she was her husband’s caregiver after he had suffered a major stroke.

Pacita embraced life. She enjoyed gardening, eating good food with good company, traveling, playing with her eclectic fashion, telling stories, and devoting herself to family, friends, and God.

Pacita is survived by Fernando, Juni, Daisy, and Patrick.

Her viewing will be held at Forest Lawn in Glendale. Her funeral service will be held at The Little Chapel of Flowers in Forest Lawn. She will also have a gravesite service at Resurrection Slope in Forest lawn by the lone tree down the hill. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a separate Go Fund Me page, which will go towards her celebration reception.
