Osvaldo A. Montiel

Osvaldo Alberto Montiel, "Baldo" AKA "Ozzy", 22, born on February 27, 1993, in Los Angeles, California, passed away February 13, 2016. He resided in Los Angeles, California at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.

Osvaldo loved what life offered. He was a "go-getter" with a positive attitude. That positive attitude reflected with all that knew him through his smile that poured rays of sunshine. His philosophy of life was to always obtain what he desired by working hard and never giving up. "When something is at your grasp, just get it, just do it, just go with it." His love for sports and recreation helped him achieve different milestones in his young life. He played basketball, soccer, football, volleyball and loved hiking. "Ball is life"... Through sports and his personable attitude, Ozzy made new friendships that will last forever.

As a baby and child, "Baldo" lived a happy life with his Mother Doris, Father Jorge and siblings Diana, Dorothy and Victor. He was the baby of the family and of course loved by all. His dreams were always in display as he would always list his goals in life. Ozzy lived without any hesitation and was the bright spot of the family.

During his teenage years Ozzy realized that he had found the love of his life in Idalia, "Daya". Daya was everything to Ozzy and Ozzy was Daya's rock. Through each other, they found love and commitment, something difficult to obtain. He would not only talk about the love towards her, but actually showed it and was not afraid to tell it to the world. "Ozzy always made sure that I knew every day his love was so pure and beautiful."-Daya

His love extended to animals, from pet rabbits, gold fish, parakeets, cats to his other love "Rambo", a loyal, friendly German Shepard he considered his "son". Rambo like most of his family and friends misses Ozzy's beautiful spirit.
