Olga Eloina Echevarria

Olga Eloina Echevarria, 88, passed away June 22, 2015 at home in Riverside, California. She was born on December 2, 1926 in Manzanillo Cuba. In 1969, Olga emigrated from Cuba with her husband, Jose M. Echevarria (1925-2001) and three children. After arriving in Miami, Florida, the family soon migrated to California, where Olga began her 20 year employment as a quality assurance inspector in the aerospace industry. After retirement, she devoted her life to her home and her family. She enjoyed cooking, tending to her garden and spoiling her children and grandchildren. She had a tremendous capacity to love all people and was in turn loved by many. She is survived by her son, Jose M. Echevarria Jr. and his wife Karen, her daughters Teresa Echevarria and Olga Echevarria-Lopez. Her grandchildren include Jose's daughters, Desiree and Christina Echevarria; Olga's daughter, Marisa Lopez; and Teresa's children, Steven and Elizabeth Chavez.
