Tino V.

With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate Tino’s life, who peacefully returned to his Heavenly Father at the age of 71.

Born on May 23, 1955, in Malapo, Tongatapu, Tonga, Tino lived a life centered on faith, family, and selfless service. He had a remarkable gift for bringing people together. Whether speaking from the pulpit, sharing a story, offering encouragement, or simply sitting beside someone in conversation, he had a way of making every person feel welcomed, valued, and loved. While his words were powerful, it was the life he lived that spoke the loudest.

Tino found joy in lifelong learning, music, making people laugh, spending time with his beloved wife, Kalisi, and gathering at faikava with family and friends. He believed there was always room for one more at the table, one more conversation to have, and one more opportunity to serve. Known for his dependable nature, strong work ethic, and generous heart, he quietly taught those around him that the greatest measure of a life is found in lifting others.

Of all the roles he held, none brought him greater joy than being a husband, father, and grandfather. He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Kalisi; their nine children; and thirteen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his eldest child, Siofilisi. His unwavering faith, enduring strength, unconditional love, and Christlike example will continue to shape the lives of his family and all who were blessed to know him.

Though our hearts ache in his absence, we find peace in the life he lived and the testimony he carried. Tino understood that mortality was not the end but the beginning of a greater journey through Jesus Christ. His greatest hope was not simply to be remembered, but for his family to remain united in faith and love. As we honor his life, may we carry forward his example of serving willingly, loving generously, laughing often, and holding fast to the promise that families are forever.
